communities’ assets as well as imparting positively on the qualitative livelihood
of the people. Additionally, to equip development aid workers and donors with
some reliable data on some rural communities that were in dire need of
supports, IGI conducted some community profiling. The projects were carried to
collect data on demography, health and education issues, sources of livelihood
and other relevant information for development planning on communities.

opportunity to interact with rural communities and harnessed the competence of
the communities in addressing some challenges in some deprived communities.
Placement of volunteers
IGI recruited local and foreign volunteers in 2015 and placed
them in some institutions that had requested for volunteers to perform some
activities in these institutions in Health, Education, Community Development,

Assistants helping substantive Ghanaian teachers in the teaching of
Mathematics, General Science, English, Creative Arts, I.C.T. and child care.

continue creating opportunity for altruistic youths living anywhere on the
globe to be part of sustainable pursuit of development in Ghana through
volunteerism in the coming years. Why not choose something different for your 2016 New Year Resolution?
Rather than just making a goal to improve yourself, how
